<p>The #1 Ranked Alabama Crimson Tide kick off their 2010 football schedule tomorrow with a game against the lowly San Jose St. Spartans. It should be an easy opening game for the defending national champion Alabama team, who hopes to get the season off to a good start. After this game, the schedule quickly becomes much tougher. Their next opponent are the Penn State Nittany Lions who are ranked 14th and 19th in the AP &#38; Coaches Polls.</p>

<p>We’ve recently got word that a plane has crashed near a Dubai highway belonging to the United Parcel Service, UPS. Eyewitness’s described the scene of devastation shortly after witnessing the plane crashing near a highway, Emirates Road,“I saw a bright light off to my left and then there was a massive explosion. Fire rushed along the ground, and the flames must have been 100ft high. The flames tracked along the ground and got smaller, then died out completely.”</p>

<p>Mariner Engery&#8217;s Oil Rig Exploded Today</p>
</div>
<p>Just over 4 months since the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion that killed several workers, and tainted the Gulf of Mexico with millions of barrels of oil, another explosion on a Gulf of Mexico oil Rig has occurred. This time on the Vermilion 380 oil rig, which is owned by Mariner Energy, and headquartered in Houston Texas. Coast guard crews rescued 13 workers who jumped into the water after the rig exploded at approximately 10:30 AM. One worker was transferred to Terrebone General Medical Center with injuries.</p>

<p>The spokesman of the Baltimore County Public School district stated that all Baltimore County Public Schools will be closing 2 hours early today due to extreme heat. The temperature is expected to reach 93-94 degrees, thus leaving the school district with the tough decision to shorten the school day. All afternoon pre-K classes will be closed for the day, and afternoon activities will be on a case to case basis.</p>
